I'm a mature student in my final year of study. Before I started my design journey, I was in customer service for 8 years. This experience taught me a lot about being adaptable to people's needs, subsequently specialising in tapping into my empathy to give a unique service and solutions to their problems.

During Covid, I fell in love with design and quickly realised I was providing a user-experience all this time. I started at the University of Winchester in 2021, achieving top marks in all my projects and became a Scholar. In 2023, I started a 12-month internship with IBM Design. I am currently finishing up my third year, highlighting how unethical design choices (dark patterns) hinder user-experience.
